The babies are also not vulnerable to premature birth, stillbirth or low birth weight.

PCH (preconception health): Let us first understand about the health before conception, as womanhood by nature unfolds with patience and they are ready to transform themselves into the new role with all the necessary sacrifices. PCH emphasizes screening for diseases before pregnancy and encourages medical treatment of women of childbearing age of 18 to 44 years. This feat improves their health and takes into account the elements that may affect their pregnancies in the future.

· Increase folic acid in the diet: Studies revealed that women should take vitamin B throughout pregnancy and at least once a month before pregnancy, as this vitamin helps prevent massive birth defects related to the spine and brain in babies. Dark green leafy vegetables are external sources of folic acid. Fortified whole grains and cereals and citrus fruits are also good sources of this prenatal vitamin.

· Oral health is also important: People may wonder to know the connection between pregnancy and oral health. However, the state of your oral health says a lot about your overall health, as the inconsistency of your hormones during pregnancy causes bleeding and swollen gums. So it is important to keep an eye on oral health before and during pregnancy.

This care is supposed to continue even after birth as you need to feed the baby and staying healthy is the key to having healthy and abundant breast milk. Since maintaining healthy habits extends for a long time from pre-pregnancy to postpartum, staying healthy should become a lifelong habit. It’s just not important to stay healthy for your baby, but it is important to stay healthier for yourself!!
