This stored water will increase our weight. Additionally, when we do our exercises, we need more water. Perhaps we forget the fact that our body is mainly made up of water.

Another fact we forget is that water in our body is lost in many ways and needs to be replenished. Even if you eat a well-balanced diet, you must drink enough water. If you are fat or overweight, your water intake should be more. Only then can your body function efficiently. On top of that, when you do your exercises, your water intake should go up.

You need to know your body mass index so that the percentage of fat in your body can be known. Therefore, you can plan your diet and exercises. You should set realistic goals because you don’t have to lose all the fat. Your body definitely needs fat. Therefore, you should plan a balanced diet along with sensible exercise. Your exercise program should consist of both cardiovascular and weight training exercises. Cardiovascular exercises like swimming, cycling, brisk walking, running and jogging will help you reduce your weight, but at the same time, due to these exercises, you may also lose your muscles. So you need to rebuild your muscles by doing weight training exercises. Your balanced diet should also contain adequate proteins because proteins are very necessary to help in the process of muscle building.

So if you set realistic goals and follow a well-balanced diet along with a well-considered exercise plan, you can definitely succeed in losing your fat and of course some weight too.
