Whether you say it out loud or not, we all have an inner critic that brings you down and plays like a tape on repeat in your head. Constantly – I have flabby arms, I’m fat, I’m ugly and unattractive, she’s skinny, I’m a failure. But you do everything you can to lose weight and you never do, you try all the fad diets, all the juice diets and you never see the deeply satisfying results. All you see and feel is more pain from failure. You keep pressing repeat on Mind Tape.

Your inner critic is actually your ego. And if you are a woman, then I like to call you shego! Your ego rises up whenever you want to change – lose weight, lose belly fat, make a career change – and tell you that you can’t do it. His voice sounded like this – “I can’t do it, I haven’t worked before, why now, my body doesn’t transfer fat as easily as you do, I’m very busy, I’ll start next week.”

This is all self-sabotage, because your ego is a part of you! You want to achieve something that you can’t do? Why? Your ego prevents you from making changes and growing so that you stay safe. It sounds crazy but the moment you REFUSE to believe your ego, that’s the moment you make quantum leaps in life, in career, in weight loss, fat belly, flabby arms, absolutely everything.

So now you know what I’m talking about with your inner critic, how to deal with it to lose weight, get a flat stomach and more.

3 Simple Steps.

1) You need to be clear about what you want. How much weight do you want to lose, how do you look, how do you feel, what are you currently wearing? Don’t limit yourself in this regard. Make a Goal Card and send it home, on your computer, and focus! Ask yourself this question – where am I going in 6 months that genuinely makes me happy with my progress? You know you don’t want to be where you are now in 6 months – you want to lose weight, tone your arms and feel more confident and abundantly happy. Everyone does it, but not everyone pursues it.

2) Believe that you CAN! It doesn’t matter what anyone says – you can do or be anything you want in the world, the only person stopping you is yourself! Avoid people who don’t support your dreams, avoid people who tell you you can’t do it. Surround yourself with friends and family who support you and will hold you accountable to your weight loss goals, not the big ones who will let you off the hook and bring you cake and chocolate!

3) Take action – if you want to lose weight and you have a trainer telling you what to eat, you should listen! Why sabotage yourself and eat junk food or drink when it’s not getting you closer to your goals? Your body and life are your personal responsibility! We constantly tell our clients that we are responsible for showing them how to lose weight, but in the end it is a matter of personal responsibility. You can take a horse to water but you can’t force it to drink. You have to catch up and understand that this is your life and you choose how you want to live it! If you don’t know what to do, ask for help; find someone in charge. Just do something in the right direction towards your goal.

I know this sounds a very simple way to work, but it is so deceptively simple that we eliminate it at the drop of a hat. We were born to live ABUNDANTLY, filled with greatness and pure joy! It’s your choice how to live your life, but I personally choose to live a life of dignity and passion.
