The five most important things you need to do to gain 20 pounds of muscle fast are the main reasons why most skinny guys fail to gain significant muscle no matter how hard they try.

Muscle Gaining Diet = Eating Loads

Simply put, to gain 20 pounds of muscle fast, you need to eat more and consume more quality calories. For example, the average man should consume 2,000-2,500 calories per day…however, if you want to gain pounds of muscle, you should increase that to about 3,500 spread over 6 meals.

You should also increase your protein intake – the rule of thumb is 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight … so if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be consuming about 150 grams of protein.

Heavy weights and lower reps

What does it matter if you can do 30 reps with a light weight? I mean, that’s all well and good, but it will never make you GREAT.
