dinner:

One slice of cantaloupe
Coffee, tea, diet soda, or water

One pound lead the ground Chuck
One tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
A teaspoon of ground pepper
One teaspoon of garlic powder
Finely chopped small onions
Mix all the ingredients. The patty comes out as four equal-sized burgers. Bake for fifteen minutes or until juices run clear.

Four cups of mixed greens of your choice
Cut two tomatoes into slices
16 green or black olives sliced
One medium cucumber cut julienne style (short thin sticks)
A quarter of a medium red onion, diced.

1/4 cup red wine vinegar
0.5 x teaspoon of fresh garlic (finely chopped) One teaspoon of Italian seasoning
One cube of finely ground beef bouillon
0.5 x teaspoon ground black pepper
Mix the dressing ingredients and leave for 15 minutes.
Toss the vegetables together in a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the greens and toss again. Makes four one cup servings.
Seasoned Fish with Japanese Vegetables Scarsdale Diet Recipe (and meal)
Four six-ounce fillets of tilapia (or other white fish).
One lemon, cut into wedges
Two cups of fresh green beans
Two carrots, grated
0.5 x medium red onion
One green pepper, sliced and diced
One cup of sliced fresh mushrooms
One cup snow peas (no substitute for regular peas)
Place the tilapia fillets in a pan sprayed with vegetable spray. Sprinkle salt, pepper, thyme, oregano and ginger powder on top. Steam until done. Remove from the pan and squeeze one lemon wedge over each filet. Set aside. While the pan is still hot, add the vegetables to the pan (leaving the liquid from cooking the fish in the pan). Sauté the vegetables over medium heat until soft but still firm. When the vegetables are cooked, put four equal portions on a plate and top with fish fillets. serve. Makes four servings.
