Oral use of this agent causes side effects such as abdominal cramping, diarrhea, electrolyte disturbances, and potassium depletion. In addition, due to side effects, significant drug interactions can occur with some drugs, including digoxin (Lanoxin). Internal use of aloe has not been shown to be effective for permanent weight loss. Studies have shown that aloe vera juice improves digestion. This allows food to be broken down more effectively and thus pass through the body faster.

Step2: Use a natural appetite suppressant, such as kola nut or guarana, if you find yourself constantly snacking throughout the day.

Step3: Improve fat metabolism by taking a butcher’s broom supplement. This herb, which also improves digestion, is best taken with a vitamin C supplement.

Step 4: Dissolve fat in the liver by taking fenugreek seeds. Fenugreek is also a great laxative and provides natural lubrication to the intestines.

Step5: Get more energy for exercise by taking astragalus. This practical herb will also increase the absorption of nutrients in the body.

However, herbal preparations will not provide permanent weight loss. Herbal weight loss preparations contain many ingredients, some of which have serious side effects and can cause dangerous toxicity. Most herbal preparations are sold by people with limited clinical knowledge and therefore cannot alert the public to potential dangers and/or how the herb may affect you or the medications you are taking. Many herbal manufacturers also make “false claims” about the effectiveness of these preparations. 1: Inexpensive herbal remedies are available at most health food stores. Alternatively, you can find a wide selection of reasonably-priced supplements online.

2: Remember that herbal medicine is not intended to replace a doctor’s care in life-threatening situations. If you experience serious symptoms, such as heart palpitations, unexplained bleeding, severe diarrhea, or dehydration, contact your doctor immediately or report to the nearest hospital.

3: Be prepared to deal with the side effects of using herbal medicine, which may include stomach upset and mild nausea. These side effects should only last 1 or 2 days. So, if you experience this beyond this time limit, stop taking the herbal supplement and contact your doctor.
